Flute and Singing Teacher

Lorna is a recent vocal graduate of the Royal Northern College of Music, gaining a First Class (hons) BMus degree and MMus with Distinction, under the tutelage of Jane Irwin. She has extensive experience in the concert, opera and choral scenes; recent performances being with Bergen National Opera chorus in Norway, Kantos Chamber Choir around the North West and performing as a regular concert soloist around the UK. 

Lorna enjoys teaching classical singing to students of all ages and abilities. Lorna also teaches the flute; she was a student at the Junior RNCM and principal flute of both the Hallé Youth Orchestra and National Youth Wind Ensemble before commencing her vocal studies at the RNCM. She has experience of taking students through ABRSM exams, teaching groups and working with pupils with special needs.
